Article I

Organization

Section 1.   The name of this organization shall be SHELTER LAKES, INC. (the “Association”)

Section 2.   The organization shall have a seal which shall be in the following form:

Section 3.   The organization may, at its pleasure by a vote of the membership body, change its name.

Article II

Purposes

Section 1.   The following are the purposes for which this organization has been organized:

(a)   To provide for the preservation and enhancement of the value, attractiveness and desirability of the development to be known as SHELTER LAKES, and for the maintenance and the administration of easements, rights of way or any property belonging to or benefitting the Association, as set forth in the Deed of Dedication of the subdivision known as Shelter Lakes and Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and Reservations of Shelter Lakes (the “Declaration”) to be recorded among the land records of Prince William County, Virginia.

(b)   To administer and enforce the covenants and restrictions to which the development will be subjected by the Declaration.

(c)   To collect and disburse the assessments and charges created by the Declaration.

(d)   To promote the recreation, health, safety and welfare of the residents in the development.

(e)   To maintain and improve common areas, access roads and easements, including any entrance signs or facilities belonging to the Association.
